Barbara Jozsa
Barbara Jozsa, MA, CCC-A
Audiologist

Barbara is one of the audiologists at Ford Hearing Aid & Audiology. Barbara has been fitting hearing aids and testing hearing for 15 years. Prior to joining Ford Hearing Aid & Audiology she worked for ten years with Ear Nose and Throat physicians (ENTs) in Wichita, Kansas, in Beatrice, Nebraska, and in Lawrence, KS where she fit hearing aids and did hearing tests, including specialized hearing and vestibular testing.

Barbara obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from the University of Kansas in 1992 and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Audiology also from the University of Kansas in 1994. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiologists, the Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Kansas to dispense hearing instruments and test hearing.

 


Carrie Claassen
Carrie Claassen, MA, CCC-A
Audiologist

Carrie Claassen is the newest member of the audiology staff at Ford Hearing Aid & Audiology. Carrie has been fitting hearing aids and testing hearing for 6 years. Prior to joining our team she was employed by Pease and Smith, M.D. ,P.A. in Hutchinson, Kansas where she worked closely with ear, nose and throat physicians to treat adult and pediatric hearing and vestibular disorders.

Carrie obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from Wichita State University and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Audiology. She is an active member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, the Kansas Speech Language and Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Kansas to dispense hearing instruments.


Max Ford
Max Ford, HIS
In Memory Of...

Max Ford was the founder of Ford Hearing. He worked in the Hearing Aid Industry for over 30 years. Max worked for Beltone, in their Sears Office, before he started Ford Hearing in 1981. At one time Max worked with William Dumont, the founder of Miracle Ear and Oticon. Max really enjoyed his work and loved working with people. He spoke many times about working door to door and driving many miles to help people hear better.

Max was known for being kind and having a gentle nature. He had a great sense of humor and was wonderful to work with. Max worked a lot with his church and in the local community. Max was a good person and is truly missed.
